Our first stop on the trip was the Al Huda Islamic center. While we were there we had to take our shoes off. When we walked in we each had to stand in our on little square. Then Hisham Almed the prayer leader spoke to us. He spoke to us about the Holiday Ramadan. He told us that Ramadan starts after 5:30 in the morning and ends at 7:30 at night. Then he told us that in their religion they have services on Friday instead of Sundays. After he was finished speaking we took a few pictures. Here is two of them.

Our second stop was the Congregation of Children of Israel. There we met with Rabbi Gerson. He spoke to us a little bit about their two major holidays that they have just come out of. He showed us the five Torahs that they read out of. Then he read out of one for us in Hebrew and then in English. It was an amazing experience. Then he told us about the tradition of a Bar Mitzvah. That's the 13Th birthday of a Jewish boy. It shows that the boy is now a man. Then it was time to go. This is Rabbi Gerson.

Our third and final stop was the St. Josephs Catholic Church. There we met Father David McGuinness and Benedict. They spoke to us together for a moment. Then Benedict took us into the church. There some of us did the holy water on our four heads in the cross shape. After that we sat down and Benedict spoke to us more about the Virgin Mary and the bread and wine. After she was done speaking we took some pictures of some of the things in the chruch. Here is Father David and one of the pictures that we took.

What did you think about Al Huda? You provided a great summary of our visit, but I'd like to know more about what you thought. Good details about our visit to the synagogue. My favorite part was when Rabbi Gerson read from one of the Torahs. What did you think about the Catholic Church? Your summary of our field trip is probably the best that I've read, but I would like to know what you thought of these things. Great pictures, and I like the new font!
Well written. As is you earned 45/50 points.
Good Job! You really paid attention.
