If the Industrial Revolution or the Enlightenment never occurred , we would still be doing certain things by hand or we would still be under control. For example making cars or making toys for kids or following stupid rules from other countries. There are lots of things that would be completely different if things like the Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution didn't occur.
1. We would not have factories. Meaning we would still be doing things by hand and goods would still be way expensive.
2. We would still be under control by Britain. Meaning that we would listen to rules that don't make any since.
3. We would still be paying outrageous prices for goods. Meaning food, toys, and cars would be crazy expensive.
The Industrial Revolution and the Enlightenment made life a whole lot easier for us. Yes lots of people died or got hurt trying to make things work out but they did it for a good reason and purpose. If these two things never occurred then life that we know now would be miserable.

Very valid points and great examples. Especially #1. You were supposed to make a list of 10 ways that your life would be different though. But since you wrote the intro and conclusion for the post, I'll give you a break.
As is you earned 16/20 points.
